Estate Planning

Estate planning involves planning for how an individual’s assets will be preserved, managed, and distributed in the event of their incapacitation or death.

These services include establishing trusts, preparing wills, applying for Probate, distribution of bequests of assets to heirs, the settlement of estate taxes and a variety of other arrangements.

Collaborative Law & Mediation

Collaborative law is an alternative to a traditional courtroom for resolving disputes. In a collaborative setting, the parties discuss their dispute in person and work together to create a solution. There are two main types of collaborative law: negotiation and mediation. In a negotiation, the parties, or their lawyers, talk about the dispute directly and attempt to create a solution.

Mediation is similar, but in mediation, a neutral third person sits in on the negotiation and helps the parties work toward a solution. In either case, if the parties reach a solution, the mediator will write up an agreement both parties are happy with.

Commercial & Employment Law

Just Law can assist with the buying and selling of your business, drafting lease agreements, starting a business, shareholders agreements, finances, working with you on your business structure and tax implications with your accountant through to drafting and negotiating your agreements and contracts.

Conveyancing

Now matter what kind of property you’re into, Just Law has a well deserved reputation in all aspects of property law and conveyancing is a major part of our practice. We provide clients with expert and strategic advice across all aspects of property law including commercial property, property development and all areas of residential property law.
